* This year we , as always , were keeping up on public discussions :

* Responded to the challenges and conducted a series of webinars on journalism during the pandemic .

* Initiated cooperation with Suspilne and were repeatedly protecting it with other public organizations .

* Launched a hotline to consult journalists during the election .

* Became members of Nezalezhna media rada ( Independent Media Council ).

* Became partners in the award ceremony of the National Competition of Investigative Journalism during MezhyhiryaFest .

* Collected 30 stories about journalists who shared their experiences , doubts , and victories .

* Joined the coalition of public media organizations , which recognized a marathon Tkhne Sorosom ( Smells like Soros ) on the ZIK TV channel as « abuse of freedom of speech , which has devastating consequences for Ukrainian society ».

* Drew attention to the opening of criminal proceedings on the request of Oleksandr Dubinsky , MP , and justified why it is an attempt to put pressure on investigative journalists who regularly

11 publish incriminating materials .

* Expressed concern about the tendency of judges to justify illegal actions of high-ranking officials and obstruction of journalistic activity .

* Together with the Nezalezhna media rada ( Independent Media Council ) prepared a statement on the case of Vakhtang Kipiani ’ s book with materials about Vasyl Stus .

* Drew attention to the adoption of the law Pro Rozvidku ( On Intelligence ), which underlines clear principles of restriction or secrecy of public information .

* Joined the appeal of media organizations and journalists ’ associations of Ukraine , Armenia , Georgia , Latvia , Moldova , and Poland on detaining of Belarusian colleagues from the Presclub ( Press-Club )
