MELBOURNE CUP
The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club came with an incredible afternoon of racing, fashion, food, and fun, brought together by the organisation of Verity Powers and Kirsty Hunter, alongside Facundo, our amazing manager of Food & Beverage operations.

The Calcutta auctions, expertly run by Lachlan Elder with help from Jo Brodtke and Hayley Britton, had everyone cheering and bidding for their favourite horses. With 10 % of proceeds going to Alfred’ s Community Sailing( ACS), it was a wonderful way to give back while enjoying the fun of the day.
PITTWATER SAIL EXPO
We were thrilled to host the Pittwater Sail Expo, a free, family-friendly weekend celebrating sailing, innovation, and the boating lifestyle.
The community were able to explore 36 yachts on display at Marina, along with shore side exhibitors lining the ring road and Sundial Lawn. From the latest in yacht design and marine technology to cruising culture, there was something for everyone. All this was enjoyed alongside free barista coffee, thanks to Pantaenius, our Bistro’ s delicious food, and live music.
Visitors also savoured complimentary tastings from Modus Brewery and Robert Oatley Wines. We loved seeing so many members and visitors come together to celebrate the boating community.
