I grew up sailing around Greece— salty hair, bare feet, and days shaped by wind, weather, and whichever island felt like home.
Without realising it at the time, the sea was teaching me a few things about travel.
First: the best travel moments happen when there’ s space to slow down and see where the day leads.
Second: simplicity is luxury— fresh bread, a swim before breakfast, and spectacular scenery.
Third: strangers become friends faster on the water, when life is beautifully stripped back.
Those lessons shape the kind of holidays I create today.
Julie and Jennie are proof of that third lesson. They met for the first time on a two-week journey by yacht along Turkey’ s Lycian Coast.
“ We had never met before, had little sailing experience, and by the end of the trip we were lifelong friends,” they say.
