Winter Saturday Series
• The Saturday Winter Series uses a handicap start for all boats, creating an exciting finish as yachts cross the finish line at approximately the same time. A handicap start is where boats are allocated a start time based on the vessel and crew capabilities and experience. Results are calculated by place over the line. Races take place during June and July.
• Racing includes Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker formats,‘ around the cans’ inshore on Pittwater.
• Race start time: varies according to individual boat handicaps, with the first boats starting from 1200hrs.
