Nestled on Green Point at Newport, overlooking the pristine waters of Pittwater on Sydney’ s Northern Beaches, the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club( RPAYC) is one of Australia’ s oldest and most respected yacht clubs. Affectionately known as“ The Alfred’ s” by members and locals, the Club has proudly been part of the community since 1867.
RPAYC welcomes sailors of all ages and abilities, from children to youth to adults, offering a wide variety of skill-based programs and events, from yacht racing and cruising to centreboard sailing and learn-to-sail training.
The Club’ s bistro, Halyards, is open seven days a week, offering everything from relaxed breakfasts and casual lunches to refined evening dining. With a seasonal menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Halyards is the perfect setting for members, guests, and visitors alike. The Club also offers a range of private function spaces ideal for celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions.
