ALONG with the always-popular KZN Agility and Dog Jumping Championships, this year’s Royal Sh
entertainment involving man’s best friend. Visitors this year will also be entertained by dancing do
by the Mpophomeni-based FundaNenja Township Dog Training Initiative for children.
Around 70 dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages will compete for the 2016 Wuma KZN Agility a
pionships over two days at the Show. During this championship competition, handlers and their d
courses while racing against the clock.
The Mpophomeni-based FundaNenja Township Dog Training Initiative has grown exponentially
2009 and is an important part of the community. Around 100 children and their dogs get together
practise dog-training exercises under the supervision of volunteers. It takes a lot of hard work and
to be a part of this display team, and spectators are sure to be treated to some impressive feats by
dogs.
The dog dancing display by “Dancing with Dogs in Durban” will be on the Saturday. This event,
bond between humans and dogs, simply requires a love of music and the desire to have fun. If this
on your face, nothing will.
