PARKING CHARGES
Public parking (controlled by
Voortrekker High School) is
available at R20 in the grounds
of Voortrekker High School,
off Howick Road, beyond the
Members’ parking area, every
day of the Show. Car guards
will be in attendance.
DANGERS – LIVESTOCK AND
HORSES
Over 1 000 cattle, horses and
sheep are on site. Animals enjoy right of way at all times and
appropriate care is required,
particularly with younger children.
FIRST AID
ER24 occupy a permanent facility (next to Metro Car Sales).
SECURITY
A fully operational SAPS presence operates from the charge
office behind Hall 3, as well
as in-house security. You are,
however, advised to adopt the
precautionary measures applicable to an environment where
crowds gather, especially with
cameras, cell phones, laptops,
etc.
FAIRGROUND
No children under 10 may enter the fairground unless accompanied by an adult.
SPECIAL CONCESSION DAY
On Wednesday 1 June entry for
all is R40.
SCHOOL CONCESSION DAYS
On Wednesday, 1 June and
Thursday, 2 June, entry for pupils in groups supervised by a
teacher is R40 per person.
