Lukla, the gateway to Mt. Everest, lies at 2,743
m (9,000ft). Our lodge is most conveniently
located directly opposite the airport. Spacious
rooms, a lovely sunny garden and traditional
interiorsmakeforaverywarmwelcometoguests
arriving in the Khumbu. Taken an excursion to
the nearby village of Bom, just below at 9,600
ft /3,000m, with a view looking down towards
Lukla and the very interesting airport is an option
for guests spending their first night in Lukla.

This lodge has the most wonderful location as
it is sited amidst pine forests overlooking the
Dudh Koshi valley with breathtaking views of
Ama Dablam, Thamserku, the Taboche Peak
and Khumbila, said to be the spiritual abode
of the patron demigod of the Khumbu region.

village of Phortse can be made from the lodge.
