THE BASTILLE FESTIVAL
With its unique blend of French heritage and South African excellence, this iconic winter tradition continues to be a highlight on the cultural calendar. This year the festival is set against a brand-new backdrop in the very heart of the village. A vibrant blend of culture, cuisine and community spirit, this three-decade tradition features wine pavilions showcasing the valley’ s finest estates, and a gourmet food fair brimming with artisanal creations and French-inspired delicacies. Attendees traditionally don red, white and blue, and Celebration Square becomes a hub of music and dance complemented by parades and festive flair.
