From Our Desk -- Issue #4 2016
Welcome to the 4 edition of The Route 7 Review!
Since our last issue, our editorial team has undergone tremendous growth, increasing from only
three editors to a full eighteen. Along with this, our submissions also surged, rising to over 1,300
in total. The submissions ranged not only in themes but in origin, coming to us from North
America, Europe, and Asia, lifting The Route 7 Review to a truly international publication. From
poetry to fiction to creative non-fiction, our readers will find a wide variety of themes from many
points of view, from the traditional to the challenging. Because we received such a great number,
the pieces that we have chosen to publish are marked by excellence, having risen above the rest
as the best of the best. We are proud to present them here and hope that our readers will love
these works as we do.
