Disassociation
By Stephen C. Middleton
Craving some recognition
The vein for transfusion, at least
The substance of the schism
The carer
And the beast
Poor definition
And terrifying frissons
Too broken
To tease saving graces
From disassociation
To face the days complete
To trace the days at peace.
