Round the Bend June 2014 | Page 40

on't be fooled by the Fisher-Price squeeky toy/keyboard thingamy that Jeremy is playing in the previous double page spread. He does play other instruments such as guitar, harmonica, loop pedal and ukelele. Jeremy has collaborated with many different artists such as Moteo Moleko and saxophonist Jamie Faull.

One look at his itinerary for the next few months sees Jeremy flitting between Splashy Fen in the Drakensberg, Katy’s Palace Bar in Johannesburg, Halfmoon in Putney, London, Barfly in Camden, London and the Canadian Music Week in Toronto. Simply, this musician is busy.

In true loop fashion, I looped his picture at the top of this page to create that looping flow ... and now, you are able to see both sides of the picture. It's the perfect loop, front and back.

So, what's his music like? Well, it's a combination of looped rhythm acoustic guitar tracks, overlaid with fun lyrics, harmonica and a variety of other instruments which all combine to form the solid melodies similar to those presented in the music video below. Click play ... it's happy, upbeat and foot-stompingly infectious!
