Johannes Wessmark

Johannes Wessmark was born in Sweden in 1962 and has been drawing and painting most of his life. His drawings and paintings has always taken on a realistic and detailed form and later in his career he developed his skills in photorealistic painting. In the mid 1990's he bagan to show his works at exhibitions in Scandinavia and soon word spread about his wonderful talents. In 2006 Johannes decided to devote all his efforts to fine art painting due to demand for his work. He is now a member of the International Guild for Realism and is constantly requested to lecture, teach, and hold master painting classes in realism. His work is represented in the European Museum of Modern Arts and is highly sought after by collectors. Johannes uses acrylics, oils and colored pencils in his works of art. He is also a member of The Swedish Artists Natioanl Organisation, The International Association of Art, The International Guild of Realism and The Varmland Artist Association.
