Soak wooden skewers in water for half an hour to prepare for grilling.
Cut zucchini, mushrooms, marrows, onions and halloumi into bite-size portions and thread onto the skewers, alternating the ingredients.
Melt butter and add chopped garlic.
Baste the completed skewers with the garlic butter.
Grill on the braai or bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the veggies are cooked through but the halloumi is still holding its shape and crisping on the edges.
