To all of our sponsors and supporters, you should have a great sense of pride when
you see these half yearly results. Considering three of our kids were accelerated. I

NEWS FROM NEPAL
Life is moving on and the children are just blossoming
with summer starting to wane. The children have been
on a few exciting outings. One with Dhanraj to the a park
and one with Marcel and Ankie (owners of New Life
Children’s Home) to the water park.
On a medical check-up at the school it was found that
Bipin required eye tests and now he is looking very much
like an academic wearing his glasses.

SAHARA’S VISIT
We have been lucky to have one of our supporters and
Nepalese expat, Sahara visit the children in July.
Hopefully, she and her family will be guiding and
supporting us with the registration legalities.
She had a wonderful time with the kids and could not
stop saying how beautiful they were and was awed by the
whole experience and so eager to be part of the team.
Sahara was most impressed with Bipin’s light that he
made by himself at home. His scientific work is called ‘to
solve Nepal’s power shortage’. Anyone willing to support
him to create a solar panel light would be really
appreciated. We might have a scientist on board. Bipin is
in Year 7 now and such a curious soul.
The children have just finished their half yearly exams
and am very impressed with their results. See page 3 Nirmal,
Krishala and Nirmala have coped really well with their
accelerated classes.

battery light’
