This Month Featured this month are two stories that highlight the work that Rotary and particularly our club does to support Rotary. One focuses on the opportunity given to talented young science students to come in contact with some of the most renowned scientists in the country through the National youth Forum Science Foundation Summer School. Local student Tom Hagan tells of his experience and the opportunity that has been provided by Rotary. Not all Rotary exchange students go on to be famous celebrities but our club can RI President : Ron D. Burton District Governor : Graham Davies Club President: Gloria O’Dowd boast of hosting one. Recent Oscar Award winner Matthew McConaughey spent most of 1988 in the Toukley district and you can read more about his stay on page 8.
