We Remember the visit of Governor Marie Bashir
The imminent retirement of State Governor Prof Marie Bashir and her honour of being made a Dame
in the Order of Australia in this year’s Queens Birthday honours list, brought back very fond memories of her association with our club when she opened the 30th annual Festival of Arts in 2005.
