PPL Engineering Services Ltd – Authorising Engineer
Authorising Engineer for Electrical & Confined Space Discipline. Developing site and system specific Safe Systems of Work and training regimes to comply with current legislation and procedures. Varied exposure to industry standards including MOD, MOJ, Hospitals and Commercial environments. Responsible for the end-to-end roll out of SSoW including site surveys, training and mentoring, auditing and appointments.
Responsible for technical compliance across 11 Data Centre site in the south. Managing the site and system specific Safe Systems of Work across various disciplines; Electrical, Mechanical and Confined Space. Lead for incident investigation, training and governance.

VIRTUS Datacentres- Technical Manager
Responsible for Engineering operations of 40MVA Datacentre – Providing day to day technical support to the FM team. This included site acceptance from project teams, contractor management, incident management and operational security of critical infrastructure.
Created, appraised and developed safe systems of work with on-site team including all SOP’ s / MOP’ s / EOP’ s including providing training and guidance to junior AP’ s on site

VIRTUS Datacentres- Technical Shift Manager
Providing 24 / 7 support on site Facilities Management team on technical basis, providing advice and solutions to any problems.
Responsible for witnessing all critical works on site to ensure site stability and quality service delivery. Support Data Centre Manager with technical aspects of business including incident management. Manage on site incidents effectively to ensure operational safety and security of the site including correct escalation procedures are always followed.
Ensure management of third-party contractors is efficiently managed to ensure service delivery is always met. Responsible for ensuring compliance of all policies and procedures by on-site teams including statutory legislation, customer SLA’ s etc.
