INTRODUCTION

This Rosedale Homeowner Welcome Package has been conceived, compiled, designed and will be
maintained by the Rosedale Homeowners’ Council for the benefit of present and future Rosedale
homeowners, our neighbors.
It is primarily intended to make it pleasant, efficient, and fast for newcomers to get settled in our
community by providing in one place what one needs to know about living in Manatee County, along
with the role, rules, and people of the Rosedale Master Homeowners’ Association (RMHA), the Golf and
Country Club, the Rosedale Homeowners’ Council and your particular local association (if you live in
one).
For existing homeowners it will be a convenient resource and reminder.
I want to acknowledge the valuable contributions made to the original 2012 package by Karen and Mark
Alexander and by Linda Safford and Dick Barker. But first and foremost, our admiration and gratitude
goes to Judy Boehm who has continued to do the heavy lifting, organizing, editing, and leadership
required to complete this project and keep it alive and relevant.
