JEFF DENNIS
Jeff Dennis is a veteran writer , photographer , and blogger who grew up on a tidal creek in Charleston . Jeff attended Camp St . Christopher on Seabrook Island as a youth , and later enjoyed saltwater fishing on Kiawah Island and at Bohicket Marina . Jeff is a longtime outdoorsman , and private landowner in Colleton County . ABBY NURRE
Abby is a watercolor artist from Cincinnati , Ohio where she graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Design , Architecture , Art , and Planning ( DAAP ) in 2013 . Inspired by her passion for animals and the natural world , her work is set in a whimsical world where watercolor meets wildlife and nature . She ’ s illustrated children ’ s books , frequently paints commissioned work , and leads workshops that aim to teach young painters to connect with the world around them .
SEAN CANNON
Sean Cannon graduated from the College of Charleston ’ s Environmental and Sustainability Studies graduate program and worked for Naval Facilities Engineering Command . In 2022 , Sean joined the Kiawah Conservancy ’ s land preservation team as a land stewardship intern and in 2023 he was hired as the Conservancy ’ s new restoration and enhancement specialist . His work focuses on native species , Nature- Based solutions , the Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden and Habitat Recognition Program .
