New South Park Development to Reshape LA Skyline
Chinese owned company, Greenland USA, is planning a massive development
project in Downtown LA’s South Park neighborhood that will redefine the iconic
city skyline. The development, to be known as “Metropolis,” will include two highrises - a 19-story hotel and a residential tower. No word yet on whether these
units will be condos for sale or apartments for rent, but they are sure to be hot
properties when they do finally open. No date has been set for opening.

Larchmont Project Faces Liquor License Opposition
“The LC”, a planned mixed use project currently mid-construction at the north
end of Larchmont Blvd., is facing some stiff opposition to their application for a
liquor license. While some establishments on Larchmont Blvd possess beer and
wine licenses, none have the full license needed to sell spirits. The Greater Wilshire
Neighborhood Council recently wrote a letter stating their opposition to the
requested liquor license until the property owners agree to conditions set by the
Neighborhood Council intended to preserve neighborhood quality of life.
