Engstrom : Citizen of the Year
The distinction of 2024 Citizen of the Year and Rockin Rogers Grand Marshal goes to Rogers Lions Club member Dick Engstrom .
Engstrom has served the community in Rogers Lions Club for almost 20 years and currently holds the title of gambling manager at the club . Read more about Engstrom in the June 20 edition of Crow River News .
The award is presented during the annual Rockin Rogers Days festival , and the honoree is invited to serve as grand marshal of the Rockin Rogers Days Parade .
Initiated in 1977 , the Citizen of the Year is selected annually by the Rogers Lions Club Board of Directors . The award honors a Rogers resident who exemplifies community spirit and involvement .
