He knew that he could not do this job alone . He formed a team with his friends who were curious about space like himself . They shared tasks on the space model and started to prepare the model . For some parts , they made use of the 3D printer available at their school . At the end of this very tiring but at the same time entertaining process , they created the space model as they wanted and they immediately applied for the competition . A week later , the jury would evaluate the model projects and announce the winner . Rocket Kid was so impatient . The day finally came and Rocket Kid took a big step towards becoming an astronaut he had dreamed of since his childhood . They won the competition and were entitled to participate in the Space Program training offered by NASA as prize . Rocket Kid never gave up on his dreams and eventually joined the " Mars " project as NASA ' s youngest astronaut .
