in the world that I prefer touring because every place, every country we
have visit in the world have advantages and some good parts. This ten
years we are around, already twelve years even, there’s so many things,
so many highlights, and if I have to name one highlight of the world was
Tunez. We were, I think was 2006 or 2007, we were the first metal band, or
international metal band who played in Tunez, because the regime in Tunez
was not allowing metal at that time. So we were the first metal band going
there and the one we played that show. The people in the crowd, they
were crying of happiness and that’s such a thing you never forget, such a
unique moment to share with this people, such a special moment. It was so
happy, you could see it that you never forget such things.
• Do you find any differences between your fans from different parts of the
world? For example, are Europeans more enthusiastic? Are Latin-Americans
warmer? What is your impression about it?
The fans are actually different in different parts of the world for sure,
but you cannot speak even about European fans, because if you compare
already Italian fans to Finish fans or Swedish, it is completely different.
So you cannot really say the European fans, we have to see it more per
region. It is the same for Latin America, even in Latin America we have,
for example, Argentinian fans are completely different from Mexican fans
and everywhere the fans are actually a bit different, but still if you take
also metal fans all over the world there’s a lot of things people have in
common. So we know the differences but we also noticed all the things
the people have in common and that even surprise me more because
metal fans all over the world have many things, like the passion of what
the people feel for metal is all over the world. The same kind of passion
and that’s what surprises me more than the differences between the
people.
We share the passion for music and we share also the disgust for most
of the music that is daily on the radio, which is often considered for me
rubbish.
Yes, I would like to say that I hope the people/readers enjoy as much as
The Quantum Enigma as we made it and hopefully we see everybody on
the tour again. Because this year we are going to tour a lot even though
Simone has a baby, we still have found the time to do several tours. It’s
sure is going to be a blast and don’t miss it.
