Now we continue with something completely different, they keep faithful
staying away from clichés, and that’s how we listen Don’t Turn Away. It
starts with the Landenburg-Lauer duo with a sound close to jazz. Later,
the guitar arrives to give the hard rock taste together with Hagen’s strong
interpretation, he joins the choruses and the combination gave strength
to the vocals. In the middle tempo we found another great guitar riff,
it’s simply sensational. The entire song has a strong musical base which
grows in the end.
My Teddy Bear, is slower than its predecessor but the strength is the
same. The bassist work stands out and even we could listen a few solos.
The middle tempo plays with a different style, thanks to the solos.
We continue with the song which gives this album its name: Into The Open.
Its beginning is acoustic and we could listen Hagen’s soft interpretation,
after a moment of silence we enter into a beautiful semi ballad with a
heartrending feeling, emotive and almost dramatic. I think is a true jewel
and the best guitar solo I’ve listen, supported by the rhythmic base.
