Fabio Lione with his characteristic style, plays Rahed as one of the four
kings of this saga in the song The Last Resort. This is the second occasion
in which we find a guest star interpreting some of the characters of The
Crystal Sword Saga. Gian Maria was in charge of playing Sandor in the
song Through My Veins.
Returning to The Last Resort, the refinements of both singers offer us a
combination that becomes interesting, adding this to the magnificent
choruses we have enjoyed through this work. Anyway, I can say that
this is a song with some heavier touches and even more aggressive
ones, which can be noticed in the musical interlude, in which we hear a
powerful solo duel between Daniele and Claudio; and at the end, a great
set of voices merging Fabio, Sara, and the chorus that is really glorious.
Showdown is the next song, and is one of the two long duration songs
we will find in this disc. Of calm rhythm at first, it goes “in crescendo”
little by little and promises to be another musical hurricane. After this
