Trebendo, Paris - 19/12/2013 François Phoenix / Translation: Zaravasty Luna Therion was back in Paris after they had announced a short break because they wanted to focus in their last project, the composition of their Opera Rock. They’ve changed their mind and decided to take a chance and proved some samples of their opera in a live show. An excellent opportunity for their fans to be able to listen them again in the Parisien Trabendo. Sond Storm, the Italian symphonic power metal band, began the night. This band offers something different, especially their vocalist with a beautiful voice, he is able to reach impressive tunes. It was a shame their performance was too short. I hope we could see them again in France with a longer setlist! Then we had Come, the ‘ovni’ band of the night! Even without this band the lineup was electrifying, but the Polish boys were oddly amazing! The music they gave us and the vocalist’s outfit (sleeve-less white shirt, pink make-up the same color as his sandals) were contrast with the rest of the bands. Many people weren’t enthusiastic with their performance. The Polish band wasn’t bad, perhaps we need to listen this kind of music under another context to appreciate them. Next, the Russian folklore was invited to Trabendo’s stage with Arkona, the folk metal band, they arrived as an explosion and light up the stage! Unexpectedly, the room was freely leaded by the Russian strength! Through their vocalist, they introduced us in their world, with flutes and bag pipes blended with the guitar sound, and the best way to listen them is in a live show. In this moment the room was completely full, the temperature was increased in favor of the pagan fight performed on the stage! 6
