Then we listen a story teller, the queue for Grandfather’s Song.
The music and the beginning let us think we are following the
sensation left in the last song, but Juliana’s voice and the music
itself change that perception and the song is getting another
way, more melodic and emotive. Meanwhile we found other
great vocal duel. Choruses, orchestrations and narrations in
between gave the epic touch. At the same time, the violin, the
element I love in this production, joins a battle with the guitar
solos. In the end, after a short moment of silence, the sound we
have listened at the beginning returns.
Primordial Call is a light song, with some progressive metal
touches. The vocals are focused on Darren’s voice, but Julianna
has short collaborations with a different style, showing us her
versatility. Choruses and orchestrations are used with more
restraint and are the perfect background for the song. With
Open the Winds we found a stronger beginning, keyboards
and violin, which continues as the main character, are the
perfect queue for the singers. We could consider this song
as middle-tempo, but full of melody and again, with discrete
arrangements. Almost in the middle of the song we could listen
the band’s sound label, but we cannot call it a climax, as we
could listen at the album’s beginning.
The orchestration, the bagpipes and the choruses we could easily
found in an epic movie, are the perfect queue for Victory Inside
You. It’s a short but effective instrumental song, it some kind of
interlude before we arrive to Just Like You, an acoustic and calm
song in which we could appreciate again Darren and Juliana’s
duet together with a harmonic and enjoyable piano interpretation
by Oleg. This acoustic sound keeps fading until the rest of the
band arrived in a moment full of intensity which ends with the
piano and the violin. Both give us a beautiful closing.
Sometimes This Life is a strong song, strengthen by the
musicians, choruses and performers, especially in the main
chorus. The song, with semi-intense rhythm, has the strength
I was talking about thanks to the structure an
