of this production. It becomes the heaviest album’s
song. The rhythm changes suddenly, perhaps we could
say it’s dark, but the chorus returns to the Stamina we
know so well. It is strange but at the same time interesting. Adamo shows off his vocal quality with the different shades he gave to his interpretation.
Nils Molin comes back for the second-to-last track,
Wake Up the Gods, with an interpretation full of passion and energy, following the Hard Rock style. It is
loaded with impulsive riffs and a catchy rhythm. I may
say, is a simple song, with spectacular arrangements
which made it noticeable to the listeners.
In the end we found Winner for a Day, a true jewel in
every single way, with the interpretations of Jacomo
DiDomenico and Maria McTurk, it is a splendid duet.
There are excellent arrangements and also, there are
moments in which the keyboards made me remember Deep Purple or Rainbow, this characteristic approximates this song to Classic Metal, but even then
we found Stamina’s label. Another melodic and energy
shock; the perfect closing for this album.
The first time I listened to Stamina, they left me with a
strange sensation. They play in a different way, something I haven’t listened before, but at the same time
is unique the way they choose to express themselves.
The sobriety, the elegance and passion in which they
cover their music have become an undeniable signature. They don’t need labels, they just are Stamina.
