Many people has told me that they want “Like a lion in a cage” as a
clip, so I think that our next video will be that song. The election of
“Rock Religion” is the general idea that the rock unite us all. I don’t
have anything against rap or other kinds of music, but they are in the
TV, they are everywhere. We don’t appear on TV, so we have to get
support in other ways. Religion seems like a good one, but I believe in
the religion of our music.
• We notice that your father is always present as your inspiration, this
time with the song “Father, Farewell”, what can you tell us about it?
I was very close to my father. First my mother died, then my father,
and after that a very close friend, from my childhood, of my same
age, the same day as my father, on February 14th. The instrumental
song, the bonus I made for Japan is a tribute to my friend. It is not a
dramatic disc, but it was a little to heal myself. It is difficult, it is about
people you love and you just can’t see anymore. Those who know you
the most, and that you won’t see again, and you must continue living.
You are obligated to live, you are not going to die with them. They are
your parents, and they don’t want you to die. When I composed that
melody, it was during the night in which I thought about my father.
That arpeggio came into my mind, I just took the guitar, thought
about my father, and it turned into that song.
