• Many of us discover Vexillum in 2011
during Rhapsody of Fire’s tour “The
Frozen Tour of Angels”. What could
you tell us about this experience?
Michele: It was our first tour around
Europe, as promotions of our first
album, supporting one of our favorite
band of all time, so it’s very easy to me
to say it was a blast!!! In the beginning
we didn’t know what to expect,
but we were prepared under lot of
aspects, and this helped us to face all
the matters we met. Of course was
a great experience under all aspects,
I think that for a musician to travel

thanks to his own music is the greatest
satisfaction. Of course to be on tour is
not easy, we had to learn to live with
very intense life rhythm, to sleep when
you can, and lot of energy is required
to guarantee great and powerful shows
every night! We worked very well
during that tour and this helped us to
meet lot of new reality in the music
world and music business, and at the
same time we met lot of people. For us
was a sort of school, working face to
face with great professionals of music,
not only talking about the stage and
the show, but also talking about the
backstage, and everything behind the
show, is always important to be ready
in learning. We watched and learned
everything we could, always enjoying
every moment.
