(Tecka) The Door To ... The Alerces Shire, an emotive and mostly instrumental song that contains a good progressive touch as well as the use of a violin as the protagonist or singing voice in it, with a beautiful sound harmony. The voice appears almost at half-song interpreted, again, in English as in Spanish, giving it a touch that makes this song more interesting. We continue with The Devil’s Witch Mistress And The Skinless Dwarf, it is characterized by having a more jovial cadence and it can be noticed in each note. Bilingual vocal lines are combined and we will listen to them until the end. Before finishing, we find the bonus track At Saint Julian’s Bay, a dreamy instrumental theme. This puts an end to the listening of this record, that will undoubtedly be of great interest to those who like progressive metal and fusion with other types of music, in this case South American folk music, this is a well composed album, well conceptualized, and with excellent interpretations, highlighted by an intelligent and careful production. A highly recommended disc. 9
