Legendary Years is an album which introduces the younger members, it’s
also a way in which Alex Staropolli (cofounder) celebrates Rhapsody of
Fire’s 20th anniversary. One way or another, this album has become the
talk to the town and has caused controversy, generating different opinions
and critics, some of them well done and others, made of gossips and even
pure hate.
At the beginning, when they announced this compilation, I didn’t believe
it was the best way to present the new line up, especially Giacomo. But
I cannot deny I’ve been enjoying the album, it’s not the same feeling
when I listened the songs for the first time, naturally on that time the
circumstances, the sensations, the experience, even the technology
were different.
