On this occasion we are going back once more to the Middle East , today I have in my hands perhaps the best album which has been released so far this year from a band that for the time being is emblematic in that part of the world : Orphaned Land .
Orphaned Land is a group from Israel and they fusion progressive metal , doom metal and death metal with the folk music of the Middle East and the Arab world , being one of the trailblazer bands from Middle East . Orphaned Land don ’ t have the basis of their music on myths as other bands , but they place it in real life situations that are currently happening .
