Middle

School

After finishing fifth grade at Haude elementary I began attending Schinderwolf Intermediate School. In compares ion middle school was a completely new experience full of new challenges and opportunities. Like you had to memorize your class schedule cause unlike elementary school you didn’t have one teacher throughout the whole day I also have to choose what extra courses you wanted to take. This added a feeling of having more responsibility than I had in elementary school. My nerdy appearance back then made it hard for me to be confident enough to make friends with my classmates. Which made the sixth grade especially tuff for me, but by the seventh grade I had a growth spur and started to wear contacts. This gave me a boost of confidence that allowed me to start taking part in sports again like joining baseball again and starting to run track. These teams are also where I made the majority of my friends for middle school. Though I began making friends and started actually having fun at school this had a negative affect on my grade point average I began to not care what was happening to my grades and all that did was make me ineligible for sports which put me right back where I started. I eventually learned to balance work and play and got my grades back up so I could participate in sports again. So overall middle school ended up being a major improvement compared to elementary.
