Crime: "Speak easy, man"

Mobs and Bootleggers

BooBut with all this prohibition and drunkenness y

The reality of the matter is crime and prohibition are related. when prohibition was enacted it only enveloped a new system runned by mobs such as the famous Al Capone. people thought alcohol was the main problem, but the reality of the fact is the psycology behind removing a popular item often results in an increased desire coupled with high secrecy and criminal activity. over the past couple of years murders, robberies, and atrocious crimes has increased substantially. it may be roaring in the club, but the fire that's playing is gonna burn.

Criminal activity has also been glamourized with the influence that mobs have achieved with the bootleggers as the productive bees while they sit with the honey. it's only so long before things change, whether the police decides to enforce or turn the other cheek? karma has a way of being a nuisance. We’ll see how this all of this turns out by the end of the decade.

Legalization

Since January 16, 1919 prohibition has been in effect. not a drop of liquor could be on lips, however this amendment was mostly ignored. with people coming back from war unscathed and victorious, who wouldn't want to celebrate? since our women believe alcohol is the root of all evil they chant " lips that touch liquour shall not touch ours".

It's unfortunate how could the one thing that brings people together create such stigma and strife that a new society had to be built underground to assume that prohibition is just a mirage. nonetheless, prohibition will only do more damage than good.
