One Cup High, Six to Go!
Real Madrid could not have gotten off to a better start to the season; the team showcased very fine football. Winning the UEFA Super Cup raised Real Madrid international titles to 19, right behind Milan who has 20. The Super Cup was the only title that Ronaldo hadn’t won with either Manchester United or Real Madrid. Now he’s just won it all! To start an era, Real Madrid needs to win consecutive titles to prove its dominance and by winning this Super Cup we can say that the Real Madrid era has just begun.

Formation & Tactics
There were a lot of speculations about how the team will perform with the debut of both James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos. Carlo Ancelotti once more proved that he’s the perfect man for the greatest team. Ancelotti stayed loyal to himself and played the game with a 4-3-3 formation.
By the look of it, we can see that Ancelotti will keep last season's style of play.In relation to last year, he replaced Xabi with Kroos and James with Di Maria. Unlike what everyone expected, James did not start behind the striker as he usually does, but instead he played to the left of Toni Kroos. Playing in Di Maria's position means that James has to adjust to new duties and he’ll have more defensive responsibilities. Given the fact that James was playing in a different position and also it was his debut, I believe that our Colombian star did good enough and the best is yet to come. On the other hand Toni Kroos played as if it was his 50th game and not his first, he did not waste time and he got straight into business. He had the highest passing accuracy rate (96%) and also had the most touches on the ball (100); what a player we have for just 25M!
