FETHIYE IS A PICTURESQUE TOWN
lying around the hillsides of Mount
Mendos. Fethiye, the land of lights,
is where the stream of civilization
flows from the unreachable
summits of the wild Taurus
Mountains to the foamy dark blue
waters of the Mediterranean.
Neither the most glorious words
nor all the pages of a thick book
can describe such a beauty in all its
glory. The appreciation of this land
of wonders is only possible to grasp
with your own eyes.
O
n a hot and sunny spring day, while
you are sipping on your Turkish
tea or coffee at one of the local
cafes located along the coast, the
mountains skirted with dark green pine trees and
white snow on their peaks surrounding you, the
stress from the last year of your life will quickly
evaporate. It’s surely impossible to get tired of
looking at all of this, including the innumerable
shades of blue offered by the Mediterranean Sea.
Fethiye offers dry, long, hot summers and
warm, rainy winters. Considering the fact that
swimming is possible throughout almost the
entire year, we can easily say that there are only
two seasons in Fethiye: Spring and Summer!

bilinen Fethiye, vahşi Toros
Dağları’nın erişilmez zirvelerinden
akarak gelen medeniyetler selinin,
Akdeniz’in köpüklü mavi sularıyla
buluştuğu yer. Ne en süslü
kelimeler ne de kalın bir kitabın
sayfaları, böylesi bir güzelliği
bütün ihtişamıyla eksiksiz şekilde
anlatabilir. Bu harikalar diyarının
güzelliğini sadece gözleriyle tanık
olanlar anlayabilir.
Sıcak ve güneşli bir bahar günü, sahildeki
bir kafede Türk çayınızı veya Türk kahvenizi
yudumlarken etekleri çam ağaçlarıyla, zirveleri
beyaz karlarla kaplı dağlar, gözlerinizden bütün
senenin yorgunluğunu alıp atacak. Tabii ki Akdeniz'in sunduğu mavinin 1001 tonundan gözlerinizi alabilirseniz..
Fethiye; kuru, uzun, sıcak yazlar ve kısa, ılık,
yağmurlu kışlar sunuyor. Neredeyse bütün yıl boyunca yüzmenin mümkün olduğunu düşündüğümüzde burada sadece iki mevsimin olduğunu
söyleyebiliriz: Bahar ve Yaz!
