CITIES ARE SIMILAR TO PEOPLE. In your
initial meeting, they give you some hints
about themselves. In the case of cities,
sometimes you remember their food, their
green and blue sceneries, their architecture
and sometimes, even their history.
Barcelona brings forth memories of many
wonderful tastes as a modern city with the
weight of centuries filled with sunbathing
on the coast of Mediterranean Sea.

espite its many attractions, even
when looking at the city from above,
the most visible feature is clearly
Gaudi’s enamorous signature. It’s
not too much to say that Barcelona is truly a
creation of Gaudi’s intellect, architectural works,
and imagination - all of which exceeded his
his own time, and will likely outlast our time as
well. Casa Batllo, Casa Mila and Park Güell
are just some of the most famous attractions.
Of course, though, Gaudi’s crown jewel is the
La Sagrada Familia, a church that even today
continues to be constructed. It is a delicately
cultivated masterpiece standing in the middle of
the city like a statue, incomplete even long after
the curator’s death.
