“What is Luxury?” will provoke thinking and
debate through fictional scenarios that consider
issues like privacy, resources and access that
could determine present and future ideas of
luxury. From a vending machine stocked with
DNA, a golden crown for ecclesiastical use, to
traditional military tailoring, over 100 objects
address how luxury is made and understood in
a physical, conceptual and cultural capacity.

“What is Luxury?” pek çok farklı kurgu ile
gizlilik, bulunabilirlik ve ulaşılabilirlik gibi
lüks kelimesinin geleceğini değiştirebilecek
olan kavramlar üzerine enine boyuna düşündürüyor. DNA satan bir otomattan geleneksel
askeri kıyafetlere kadar 100’den fazla nesnenin yer aldığı sergi; lüksün yapılışını ve uyandırdığı fiziksel, kavramsal, kültürel fikirleri
değerlendirmeye alıyor.
