is a wonderful place to visit.
The people of this Pacific island
nation have developed an extraordinary
relationship with nature shaped by the
simultaneous desire to capture its beauty
and need to adapt to its strong spirit in
order to survive. We were filled with these
expectations (and a little anxiety) when
our plane touched down at Tokyo’s Narita
airport on a spring evening. Springtime
is the best possible time to visit Japan,
as raindrops and delicate cherry blossom
petals sprinkle down together in a magical
way
Our schedule for the trip was filled
with the most beautiful spots for viewing
Japan’s famous cherry blossoms including
Yoyogi Park, Meiji Shrine, and Ueno
Park. Little did we know that even if we
hadn’t made an effort to see the short-lived
splendor of the blossoms beauty was going
to greet us everywhere.
Geleneksel ve modern, yabani ve gizemli,
renkli ve eğlenceli, kültürel olarak zengin
ve estetik…
Pasifik Okyanusu’nda bulunan bu ada
ülkesi, insanların kısa süren güzelliklerle ruhunu dinlendirip doğa ile olağanüstü
ilişkiler kurdukları bir yer. Bizi bekleyen
bu bilinmez güzelliğe karşı büyük beklentiler ve biraz heyecanla doluyken uçağımız, bir bahar akşamı Tokyo Narita havaalanına iniş yaptı. Yağmur damlalarının
yeni açan kiraz ağacı çiçekleriyle birlikte
yere düştüğü bu dönem, Japonya’yı ziyaret
etmek için seçilebilecek en güzel zaman.
Yoyogi Park, Meiji Tapınağı, Ueno
Park gibi Japonya’nın ünlü kiraz çiçeklerini seyretmek için en popüler noktalar
programımızı doldurmuştu bile. Bilmiyorduk ki görebilmek için herhangi bir çaba
harcamasak bile bu kısa süren güzellik,
gittiğimiz her yerde bizi karşılayacak.
