an der Valk Shipyard in the
Netherlands has launched the
25-metre Jangada, the second motoryacht in its Continental Three. The design was realised in a
close cooperation with Nick Top, Guido de
Groot and the experienced owner. Together they have created a highly distinctive
look which combines an overall modern
appearance with subtle classic touches.
The interior of Jangada features whitewashed English oak and clean, straight
lines, with a wealth of thoughtful details
and a very open feeling. Automatic sliding
doors connect the saloon from the spacious
aft deck area. A floating polished stainless
steel stairway leads from the saloon up to
the helm station and flybridge deck. The
dashboard features both perforated fullgrain leather and spotless rapello suede,
produced by Moore & Giles from the finest
hides and upholstered into an unprecedented cockpit console.
