Online marketing campaign
As well as my offline marketing event, for the collaboration they’re will be a high presence of social media awareness and promotion. I was originally going to create a new Instagram account for the collaboration however this will breach copyright laws between Rixo and Dua Lipa due to not having permission, this was brought to my awareness by the FRA. But this did make me realise that it would be best to promote the collaboration on Rixo’s original Instagram and twitter due to their large following; especially Dua Lipa. Instead for my online marketing campaign I plan to do the following:
-Share the promotional images of the new collection on Rixo’s and Dua Lipa’s Instagram.
-Create a giveaway for the public who repost a selected promotional picture of the new clothing line. Which intern will also reach followers of those who share.
-The photo booth present at the offline event can have its images shared to personal social medias, which is encouraged by the bloggers and celebrities who attend the event.
With the rise of popularity of online shopping and the importance of social media I really want to push the presence of the collaboration online, especially on Instagram which is Rixo’s most popular platform. Dua Lipa herself will also promote the points above to connect to her own audience which will also in tern spread the word more.
