90’S

For my next era, I have chosen the 90’s for girls I have chosen to look at the film clueless which is set in the 90’s. I noticed the fashion for the 90’s was based on matching patterns skirt with blazer. Short skirts with knee high socks. Also for girl groups such as TLC baggy jeans and crop tops were the look inspired from the men’s fashion at the time feel in the 90’s there was a major split between males, you were either following the hip hop side of fashion meaning tracksuit trainers with a big thick chain and rings. or you would be a suit wearing kind of man. Or just a jumper and jeans kind of man.

I feel hip hop was more aimed at the younger generation however it could’ve been different depending on what music you’re into and your hobbies.

2000’S

The 2000’s fashion to seemed as everything was sitting on the waistline and tops were just a bit more than a bra!

To me double denim was a popular trend, mini tops with flared jeans and a juicy tracksuit a tiny dog and a mini handbag to match! Finally, a mini mini skirt!

Now focusing on the men’s fashion in the 00’s again double denim was popular as it were for women! Baggy bottoms were still the craze and tracksuits however a lot of tracksuits seemed to be the same texture as a towel, there wasn’t much change for men’s fashion from the 80’s through to the 2000’s apart from the fact men’s suits got tighter and more fitted.

I think my video shows how we now in 2016 interpret the fashion from these era’s and my power point shows actual images of people from these era’s, and the class can see how I have tried to give a similar look to the era’s I have chosen!
