In 2008, the Desert Pearl Developments at Hurghada, Egypt
became a site of dispute when the property agents failed to pay the
developers. Locks were changed and construction stalled.
Many homeowners were left without any support. Our reputation
for supporting our customers spread and we started to advise people
who had not originally bought properties from us. We took the case
to an international law firm and emerged with a solution to start
fighting back. The case is ongoing, but 200 people are now fighting
to reclaim their property due to our work, which led to the award of
‘Most Outstanding Example of Customer Service’ at the AIPP Awards.
