Can you describe yourself in five words?
Empathetic, responsible, supportive, a problem-solver and friendly.
What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend a four-year college and study early childhood education. Who is your role model and why? My mom. She always works through difficult times and makes sure my siblings and I have the support we need.
If you could go anywhere, where would it be and why?
Berlin, Germany. I’ ve always wanted to visit Europe, and I grew up hearing how beautiful Germany is.

Why did you decide to become a candidate for the Monticello
Royal Ambassador Program?
I wanted to become more involved in the community, meet new people and build new friendships. Those are the reasons I was excited to become a Royal Ambassador candidate.
Are you involved in any sports, clubs, church groups or extracurricular activities?
Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy singing, playing guitar, piano and percussion, and I also love painting, baking and photography. What is your favorite Riverfest event?
The parade. I enjoy seeing all of the unique floats and watching the excitement of the children along the route.
What is your favorite place or thing to do in Monticello?
Mississippi Park. It’ s a peaceful place where I enjoy taking photographs, bringing my guitar and spending time outdoors.
What are you most passionate about?
Music. I love listening to and playing many different genres. I sing, play guitar, piano and percussion, and music inspires my other passions, including painting and baking. What is a fun fact about you? I enjoy traveling with my family, discovering new places and spending time on the water boating and tubing.
What community service or volunteer work have you done?

church by serving meals and donating items to mothers in need. I’ ve packed meals for Feed My Starving Children, helped distribute food at the Help Center, cared for homeless families through church outreach, and would like to visit children in the hospital someday.

Unique, funny, patient, resilient and kind.
What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend college and become a veterinary technician. I’ m excited to see where that journey takes me.
Who is your role model and why?
My best friend, Layla. She is selfless, caring, compassionate and always willing to help others. She encourages me to be more confident, continue learning and growing, and become the best version of myself every day.
If you could inspire others through your story, what would you hope they learn?
I hope people would see that overcoming adversity with resilience, kindness and a willingness to help others can make a positive difference in the lives of those around them.
