When: Sunday, July 12th, 11:00am
Who: The 2026 Citizens of the Year will be the Grand Marshal.
Where: The parade starts on 3 rd Street at the Monticello American Legion Club and heads East to Walnut Street. Then it will take a right on Walnut Street and head South until 6 th Street. The Parade takes a right on 6 th Street and heads West to Minnesota Street where it turns South and ends on 7 th Street. The parade will not cross Highway 25.
What to know: Safety at all times. Please watch children before, during and after the parade. Many of the parade participants will be tossing candy into the crowd, on bikes & horseback or riding in vehicles. Come early to reserve your spot on the parade route, and bring plenty of sun screen. The weather is scheduled once again to be perfect!
