8am-10:30am Community Worship The Monticello Ministerium is hosting an exciting new opportunity to unite our churches and larger community to serve hungry kids in the world! Monticello Riverfest Worship + Serve is partnering with Feed My Starving Children to put together 100,000 meal packs for children in need. At the same time, a multi-church worship band will lead live worship throughout the morning.
PARADE * NEW START TIME 11:00AM *“ Like Totally 80’ s” Theme The parade starts on 3rd Street at the Monticello American Legion Club and heads East to Walnut Street. Then it will take a right on Walnut Street and head South until 6th Street. The Parade takes a right on 6th Street and heads West to Minnesota Street where it turns South and ends on 7th Street. 2:30pm: DUCK RACE on the Mississippi In the weeks leading up to Riverfest, watch for Duck Adoption booths at businesses in Monticello! For a suggested donation of $ 5 or more, you can adopt an official Riverfest Duck to compete in the annual Duck Race.
