When I was a small fish in the Colorado River basin, I was always told about the wonder of the river before the giant wall. The giant wall was made way before me and has been there since before I was born. My name is Koto and I am a Humpback Chub. The scientific name for my species is Gila cypha. I can only live in a fresh water source. That means that I can’t live in the ocean. The Humpback Chub is part of the minnow family. I can grow up to 20 inches and weigh up to 2 and a half pounds. I can live up to 40 years in the wild.
