River Heights Chamber of Commerce
Opportunity: Growing your business within the business
community.
As a River Heights Chamber member, you choose who to
connect with, engage with and grow your business with. These
connections help you promote your business and assist you in
adapting to the ever-changing business environment of 2020.
The impactful relationships built through these connections
frequently flourish into friendships outside the office that evolve
into your work family. These fellow Chamber members are there
during your career journey as your cheerleaders, a resource and
a sounding board.
Opportunity: Advocating for your business and industry as a
collective voice.
Choosing to be a River Heights Chamber member is choosing
to support your business community. As a Chamber member,
you choose to have a voice in your local, state and federal
government. You make connections with elected officials and
grow relationships with likeminded members who strive for
better business and better community through advocacy and
the shared goals of creating a region where people want to live,
work and play.
Opportunity: Working towards a solution in a workforce
shortage.
Choosing to be a River Heights Chamber member is choosing
to support its initiatives to shape the next generation as they
become tomorrow’s workforce. The Chamber is leading regional
talent attraction through programs in workforce development.
Our partnerships support career exploration at the high school,
college and vocational schools to educate and train students in
high demand career areas. A strong workforce base is a catalyst
for advancing the business community’s economic prosperity.
The River Heights Chamber was lucky to have our intern, Pedro
Delgado Hernandez, from Inver Hills Community College from
mid-January to the beginning of May. Pedro worked on many
projects in-person and then virtually during the pandemic. In
the beginning (of his internship), Pedro attended Chamber
networking events, Ambassador business visits and meetings.
Opportunity: Sharing ideas and resources for equal benefit.
Choosing to be a River Heights Chamber member is more
than shaking hands at a networking event. It is about the
connections that start over a cup of coffee or a shared
professional interest. Those connections grow into relationships
in and out of the office. They become ‘your people’- the ones you
turn to in times of need and celebration.
